About the Role
We’re looking for a Field Installation & Operations Coordinator to support our growing network of installation projects across the U.S. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who’s eager to learn the ropes of project management and field operations within a fast-paced, technical environment.
You’ll coordinate with cities, utilities, and contractors to ensure projects are properly scheduled, documented, and executed. You’ll also spend time in the field during key phases of installation — helping oversee work, verify site readiness, and assist with troubleshooting alongside our senior technical team.
This is a role split between office coordination and field execution, offering hands-on experience in both project planning and on-site installation management.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination (Office-Based – ~60%)
Assist with scheduling and coordinating solar lighting installations nationwide.
Communicate with municipalities, utilities, vendors, and internal teams to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
Prepare and update project documentation, including site readiness forms and installation reports.
Track project milestones, delivery schedules, and contractor performance.
Support warranty and aftersales follow-up by maintaining accurate records and photos from the field.
Field Support (On-Site – ~40%)
Travel to installation sites to support project execution and oversee contractor performance.
Perform basic site assessments, equipment checks, and quality inspections.
Assist with technical troubleshooting under the guidance of senior technicians.
Ensure installations meet safety and compliance standards.
Provide on-site reports, documentation, and feedback for continuous improvement.
What You Bring
2–4 years of experience in construction, field service, project coordination, or electrical/solar installation (lighting industry a plus).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Hands-on mindset — not afraid to get involved in fieldwork when needed.
Comfort working outdoors and at height (aerial lift experience a plus).
Familiarity with basic electrical systems, schematics, or construction workflows preferred.
Eagerness to learn and grow into a leadership role.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Willingness to travel frequently across the U.S. (approx. 40–50%).
